Sue Kaveney, MCIPD

Sue is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) having gained her Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management.

She has over 15 years experience dealing with all aspects of HR activity, including employment law and legislation; recruitment, selection, retention and exits, policy implementation and management, employee relations, managing change, performance management, including absence, compensation and benefits, training and development and competency frameworks.  She is often called on to undertake investigations for local authorities and schools and has extensive Trade Union experience.

Sue is also trained in Thomas International DISC profiling to an Advanced Level and holds an A1 assessor award enabling her to assess against Business Administration, Management and Personnel.  She is accredited as a trainer for the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Her sector experience has been gained in small and medium enterprises, public sector organisations and schools.  She has worked in the not for profit, private, engineering, construction, education and training sectors and has experience of Investors in People and Matrix accreditations, BSi and ALI/Ofsted Inspections.

Her clients include Eden District Council, Cumbria County Council, Lake District National Park Authority, Carlisle United FITC, Bollman Hat Company and the Gretna Green Group.

Sue specialises in the delivery of a practical, hands on HR support service.
